Sauna at SALT

Note: SALT is temporarily closed.

On the pier by the waterfront, just opposite the Opera, you can both swim and take a sauna at SALT. Choose between 12 different saunas with a capacity of 4 to 100 people. You may also rent your own private sauna or take part in a sauna session that allows you to move between the main sauna Árdna and the smaller saunas Skroget, Ulven and a quiet sauna. To cool off, you can choose between cold freshwater pools, an outdoor shower or a dip in the Oslo Fjord. They also have a fjord terrace with 7 different private saunas with capacity for up to 4 or 8 people per sauna. The fjord terrace gives you a perfect view of the Opera House, MUNCH, and the rest of Bjørvika!

Sauna session

SALT hosts sauna sessions all-year round. Included in a sauna session ticket you get access to all open saunas on the ground floor, two cold tubs, outdoor showers, changing rooms and toilets. It is possible to buy drinks at the bar in Árdna.

Private sauna at the fjord terrace

Three saunas with a capacity of four people or four saunas with a capacity of eight people per sauna. Private bookings give you access to your own cold-water pool, a small dressing room, and a seating section at the terrace with a view of the fjord. There is also a bar, toilets, outdoor showers (warm and cold) and an indoor changing room in the area.

Private sauna in the Naustet

Book your own wood-fired sauna in Naustet! SALT’s staff will ensure that the sauna is heated, and water is available when you arrive. You have exclusive use of the sauna for two hours, and refreshments are ordered from a separate hatch in the bar. The sauna also provides access to a private cold room, a changing room and toilet.

Swimwear and towels are mandatory. Bring your own padlock and flip-flops (towels and padlocks for belongings can be rented at SALT). SALT has changing rooms and storage facilities for its sauna guests.
