Kistefos Museum, located on an ancient pulp mill site, is one of Europe's leading modern art sculpture parks. The Sculpture Park at Kistefos adds new sculptures annually, boasting 54 pieces by renowned global artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Fernando Botero, and Anish Kapoor. Many sculptures are site-specific, influenced by the museum’s natural and historical surroundings. The dynamic expressions of the sculptures change with the weather, making it a year-round experience.
A standout feature, The Twist, is a multifunctional structure that serves as a gallery, bridge, and sculpture. Spanning 60 meters across the Randselva River, this architectural marvel by a Danish firm has been acclaimed by international media as a must-see cultural attraction.
