The Østensjøvannet lake in Oslo has loads to do in and around it. The gravel path encircling it makes for a beautiful walk, with splendid sights surrounding you. The whole walk only takes less than an hour and is connected to a massive trail network, so you can also set off on a bit of adventure.
The area around the lake is home to vibrant biodiversity, and you can spot more than 200 species of birds, 20 plus mammals, salamanders and frogs. It is a lovely place to visit, especially if you’re a nature lover or looking for some peace and tranquillity.
